Welcome to the home page of COPE, if you are a consumer newly diagnose with a mental illness, or a concerned love one of a mentally ill person, this is the place for you.  Our goal is to educate consumers and families about good mental health; to show that consumers can live a normal life without stigma and prejudice. 

C.O.P.E. serves a 10 county area in Northeast Georgia which includes Barrow, Clarke, Elbert, Greene, Jackson, Madison, Morgan, Oconee, Oglethorpe, and Walton.  C.O.P.E. is managed by Advantage Behavioral Health Systems located off 250 North Avenue in Athens, GA.  Advantage Behavioral Health provides mental health and substance abuse services for Northeast GA.  We have a help line for consumers and love ones who may need info about there illness, services available, support groups; for more info, contact Samantha Riley at (706) 542-8042, or send an email to cope@athensmentalhealth.org.

We meet every 2nd Monday of the month at Central Presbyterian Church on Alps Rd. in Athens, from 7:30 to 9:00 pm.
